I love quality sunglasses, and have about six different pairs. So, I was really quite excited to be given the opportunity to review the Cebe S’pring sunglasses.

They arrived in a nice box, inside of which was the Cebe S’pring sunglasses case proper. The case is pretty sturdy, and will offer a good deal of protection for your prized Cebe sunglasses. The case itself contained a soft carry pouch and an extra set of lenses, which are clear; the polycarbonate lenses are interchangeable, so you can swap these with the lenses that are pre-fitted with your Cebe S’pring sunglasses when they arrive. They are also have an anti-fog coating too.

Talking of the pre-fitted lenses, they are really sexy; I simply love coloured, mirrored lenses (call me a geek, I don’t care!)…so long as they don’t look cheap and tacky; and these DON’T. The electric blue lens colour goes extremely well with the white frame (note: there are other colours available).

The Cebe S’pring sunglasses incorporate what Cebe call their Symbiotech concept, which Cebe describe as an:

“Exclusive concept featuring V-shaped temples for perfect and even distribution of the weight of the sunglasses. Resulting in advanced comfort and a level of stability never before achieved in the market.”

And they really do feel most comfortable when worn, and they fit very well, hugging the head without any noticeable pressure; this is excellent, especially if you are wearing the sunglasses for extended periods of time. They are also very light.

I wore my Cebe S’pring sunglasses on a recent jaunt out to Simon’s Seat in the Yorkshire Dales, on a blisteringly hot day. Not only do the lenses offer 100% UVA/B protection (great news for the eyes!), but they are also crystal clear with no warping at all.

I wasn’t the only one who liked these sunglasses; my son Ben took a shine to them too.

The Cebe S’pring sunglasses really impressed me, and have become my preferred sunglasses of choice…
