Ben Nevis Hike For Tommy’s: The Baby Charity
In August this year Hike.Mountain.Trail team member – and my wife – Sara Whyman will be taking on Big Ben (Ben Nevis that is, not the clock tower in London!), the UK’s highest mountain peak, in aid of the baby charity Tommy’s.
Ben Nevis Hike For Tommy's
Ben Nevis, the UK's highest peak. In August our very own Sara Whyman will be hiking Big Ben in aid of Tommy's, the baby charity.
For those who do not know, Tommy’s fund research in to baby loss from early pregnancy (such as miscarriage), stillbirth, and premature birth.
Sara and I have experienced this heartache first hand on no fewer than six times; in our case this was via recurrent miscarriages.
It doesn’t get any easier to cope with, but there are people and organisations out there who offer help, advice, a shoulder to cry on, and a willingness to listen; Tommy’s is one such organisation.
So in August Sara – accompanied by me, and our good friend Graeme Croft – will be taking on the King of the Mountains, Ben Nevis.
Please do pop over to her Just Giving page, and read why in her own words she is supporting Tommy’s, the baby charity…and perhaps make a donation; even the smallest donation will help Tommy’s to keep funding baby loss research.

Many thanks for taking the time to read this.
